Invitation for Children to Take Part in the 38th International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Art Lidice 2010

The International Children’s Exhibition of Fine Arts Lidice is organized to commemorate the children from the Czech village of Lidice who were murdered by the German Nazis in 1942. Every year children from dozens of countries of all continents participate in the exhibition, well known in our country as well as all over the world. We will be pleased if you join them in accepting our invitation to the 38th edition of the exhibition. We are looking forward to all works we will receive.

THEME:

The UN General Assembly at its 61st session declared the year 2010 the International Year of Biodiversity. This is a very potent theme, relevant to life in today’s world in which dozens of animal and plant species irretrievably disappear every day. It is the youngest generation who should be the most deeply involved in preservation of living nature because one day they will be entrusted to pass it on to their successors. Therefore, we would like them and their teachers to ponder and try to express in painting the meaning of the term BIODIVERSITY, or

Özetle: Birleşmiş Milletilerin 2010 için açıkladığı “Uluslararası Biyoçeşitlilik Yılı” nedeniyle bu yılki yarışma konusu olarak bu seçilmiş.

Dünyada pek çok hayvan ve bitkinin geri dönülemez şekilde yok olup gittiği, bunun en önemli konu olduğu vurgulanıyor. Gençlerin yaşayan doğanın korunması için yapabilecekleri olduğu ve onların dab u görevi kendilerinden sonar gelenlere devredeceği anlatılıyor. Bu nedenle özellikle öğretmenlerin bu konuda  yapılacak çalışmalarda biyoçeşitliliği en vurgulu şekilde çalışmalara yansımasını sağlamaları bekleniyor. Ya da aşağıdaki konular da kullanılabilecek.

CATEGORIES: YARIŞMA KATEGORİLERİ

 

·         drawing, painting, graphic art                          (Desen, resim, grafik)

·         ceramics                                                             (Seramik)

·         combined techniques (sculptures, works made of metal, ceramics, wood, glass, textile and paper)  (Birleştirilmiş teknik:- metal, seramik, ağaç cam, kumaş ve kağıttan yapılmış heykel-)

 

REQUIREMENTS OF THE COMPETITIVE PART:

·         The exhibition is opened to children at age of 4 to 16.              (4 – 16 yaş gurubu katılabilir)

·         The maximum format of a 2D work is 60 x 50 cm.                    (İki boyutlu çalışmalar en çok 50-60 cm. olabilir)

·         Number of works from an organization is not limited.               (Kurumlar dilediği sayıda eser ile katılabilir)

·         The panel of judges takes into account the adherence to the theme fixed for the current edition of the exhibition. (Değerlendirme kurulu, bu yılki sergi için belirlenen konuya bağlılığı göz önünde bulunduracak)

·         Works of art must be identified exactly the way set out in the instructions below. (Çalışmalarda aşağıdaki -identification of the works of art- talimatlara uygun tanımlama yapılmalı)

      ·         Recommendation – do not mount your entries on a board, fix them  (Çalişmalarin herhangi bir şeye bağlanmaması, yapıştırılmamaması, çerçevelenmemesi öneriliyor. Özellikle 3 boyutlu çalışmalar için olsa gerek)

TIME SCHEDULE OF THE EXHIBITION:

·         15 March 2010 – closing date of the 37th edition

·         April 2010 – The panel of expert judges will award honourable mentions to the selected works and “Rose of Lidice” commemorative medals and certificates to the best works.

·         Late May 2010 – ceremonial opening of the exhibition, publishing the results of the exhibition at www.lidice-memorial.cz

·         June - October 2009 – exhibition of the awarded works at the Lidice Gallery

·         After the main exhibition is finished smaller exhibitions will be created from the works, meant to tour other Czech towns and abroad.

 

IDENTIFICATION OF THE WORKS OF ART:

 

 

1.       Every work must have directly on its reverse side the following information (Label the works of ceramics etc. directly on them):

 (Çalışmanın arka yüzüne aşağıdaki bilgiler yazılacak. Ceramik vb. Çalışmaların üzerine etiket olarak yapıştırılacak

 

·         Name and surname of the child (please, give it in the following order: name, surname) (Çocuğun ADI SOYADI)

·         Age and sex of the child     (Yaşı ve Cinsiyeti  Kız için: Female Erkek için: Male)

·         Full name and address of the school or organization of which the child is a representative. (Çocuğun hazırlandığı okulun ya da organizasyonun tam adı ve adresi)

·         Give the address in the following order: name of the school, street, number, postal code, town, country. An announcement of a prize will be sent to this address. It is not necessary to give private addresses of children (Okul adı, sokak veya cadde, numara, posta kodu, ilçe, şehir ve ülke adı yazılmalı. Ödül duyurusu bu adrese gönderilecek)

·         An e-mail address of the organization for correspondence related to the exhibition. Please, give an e-mail address of the school or organization or any other e-mail address you can be contacted at.

Sergi ile ilgili yazışma için organizasyonun bir e-mail i yazılabilir.

2.    Descriptions must be legible, written in capitals and in roman alphabet. Works not complying with this requirement will be excluded.

OKUNAKLI, BÜYÜK HARF ile yazılacak Türkçe karekter içermeyecek.
